Assistant / Associate Professors in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatry

• Department of Psychiatry at College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Kingdom of Bahrain seeks applicants for faculty positions at the rank of assistant / associate Professors in Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry. Candidates are expected to teach small and large groups of medical students and to conduct bed-side teaching at Arabian Gulf University affiliated hospitals to undergraduate students. Teaching in a Problem-based Learning curriculum in recognized medical college and good record of publications in peer reviewed journals are required. Having a qualification in medical education is preferable.
• Applicants should have a PhD degree or its equivalent (Board certification and fellowship). Candidates will be expected to conduct independent research with intra- or extra-mural funding and to have good records of supervision of postgraduate research projects.
