Kanari AI is a leading provider of multilingual endtoend solutions for speech recognition texttospeech and conversational AI with a special emphasis on Arabic and other regional languages. We are seeking askilled and driven Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. Our products spanning both streaming and offline applications in speech and language processing are trusted by a global clientele. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence enterprise software projects driving innovation and excellence. Responsibilities
- Engineering Leadership : Guide and mentorteam members towards achieving excellence in software development practices and innovation.
- Customer Delivery Oversight : Take charge of ensuring timely and highquality delivery of projects to customers managing expectations and fostering strong customer relationships.
- Solution Development : Lead the design and development of comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs encompassing the full stack from backend logic to user interface.
- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmap prioritizing features based on customer and market needs.
- Quality Assurance : Implement best practices in code quality security and scalability ensuring the engineering team adheres to high standards in all aspects of development.
- Innovation and Research : Stay at the forefront of technology trends and full stack development to guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a key technical liaison between the engineering team customers and internal stakeholders translating complex technical challenges into strategic opportunities.
- Educational Background : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional Experience : At least 5 years in software development with a preference for experience in AI machine learning and speech processing technologies.
- Language Proficiency : Fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Technical Expertise:
- Core Development Skills :
- Java and React JS
- Core Java J2EE Spring Boot Hibernate and MVC frameworks
- Web Technologies and Services :
- RESTful APIs and web services
- JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- React.jsNode.js and popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- HTML5/CSS3
- Cloud and Deployment :
- Cloud services (AWS Azure GCP)
- Docker and CI/CD
- Database and Security :
- Strong understanding of database design and management MySQL DB MongoDB (ElasticSearch preferred)
- OAuth 2.0 along with experience in Spring Security JSP & Servlets Maven
- System and Workflow Design :
- Linux/Ubuntu commands and shell scripts
- Additional Skills :
- Knowledge in AI machine learning and speech processing technologies is a plus
- This is a remote position but there is a chance to join our growing Team in Doha Qatar as well.
