The Role
Donorbox is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist to join our in-house creative team and take our video production to new heights. You will play a pivotal role in creating captivating content for our Youtube channel and various social media platforms. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading a video team and possesses a deep understanding of video editing best practices, principles of motion graphics, and the unique dynamics of video on each social media platform. We are looking for someone who can create visuals likethese!
This is a fully remote role based out of South Africa and requires collaborating with multiple stakeholders to execute our creative & strategic vision.
Responsibilities
Oversee the video production pipeline and pave the way forward in elevating our video quality to the highest standards
Produce engaging video content for all our social media channels: Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter and LinkedIn
Creation of video and motion graphic assets for both internal and external brand communication
Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure brand consistency, visual quality, and tone
Collaborate with Video Marketer to ensure we produce the right quality & quantity of video for Youtube & other social platforms
Collaborate with the Video Producer on ensuring scripts, voice-overs and filmed footage needed for video projects are delivered on time
Collaborate with Product Marketer to produce promo material to successfully showcase our product
Forming working relationships with freelance production teams around the world and working with them to execute various video projects - on time and within budget
Stay updated with the latest video production best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications & Experience
At least 5 years of experience in management, video production and motion graphics within a team setting
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro
The ability to execute a video project from start to finish (Pre-production, Production & Post-production)
Knowledge of color grading techniques
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong leadership skills
Excellent visual storytelling and graphic design skills
Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills for video planning and execution to meet our marketing objectives
Effective project management, project planning and communication skills
Must Have
Must be well-organized in managing your own time and ever-evolving task priorities
Must be conscientious and check your work thoroughly before submitting
Must be able to manage your own deadlines
Bonus
Experience in Creative Direction
Audio editing skills

Details
Fully remote based in South Africa
Salary: $33,600 - $42,000
