Join our team as a motivated HR specialist in compensation and benefits based in Hong Kong. You will have an Asia wide remit reporting to the Asia Regional Head of Human Resources with a dotted line to the Global Head of Reward. As the Compensation and Benefits specialist, you will act as the regional subject matter expert on remuneration and equity policies, plans, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance related to remuneration. You will advise on appropriate reward structures for new hires and international transfers and leverage your knowledge to provide regional insights into reward matters, including market trends and data, competitive practice and regulatory developments. You will be responsible for our benefit programs across Asia, including benefit renewals, and oversee the compensation and benefit policies for all our Asia business groups. You will also drive our 'Macquarie Plus' wellness benefits and support our global DEI agenda in relation to reward initiatives in Asia. Finally, you will oversee the Macquarie Awards Program within region and have active involvement in project work including new systems implementation, M&A transaction due diligence and ad hoc management reporting and analysis, including board presentations. - Degree-level educated
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate prior effectiveness in a highly-matrixed, international environment
- Extensive experience in a compensation and benefits role, ideally with experience in a regional role in investment banking or professional services
- A team player with the ability to multi-task, with a pragmatic, flexible approach and delivery focused mindset
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
