Hybrid Position based anywhere in South AfricaPlease apply if you have BDM and sales experience in the following industries: Security or IT or Telecomms experience with sales expereince in African countries.Present range of security systems to the mines and variety of companies. Fluency in Portuguese and french an advantage. Purpose of PositionTo advise on and drive the implementation of agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforces, supports, and drives the profitable development of the Security business in Africa.RESPONSIBILITIESDeveloping and implementing an effective business development planDeveloping major account business.Evaluating new market opportunities.Management of client and channel expectations.Managing and resolving dealer / distributor credit control matters.Develop and grow Services revenueAbility to grasp and communicate complex technical conceptsImplement business development plans for all Security products and services.Manage expenditure against budget.Recommend strategic business alliances.Recommend process improvements.Develop and maintain channel partner support and communicationIdentify and cultivate relationships with key industry influencersPrepare and implement regional / major account sales plans that are consistent with Security business strategies.Accurately forecast / budget revenues,Ensure that details of all commitments are recorded in the Contacts database.Maintain a watching brief on competitors.Identify strategic business partner opportunities and provide feedback Technical Support & TrainingProvide technical sales support to the CEO and GOO to ensure that sales opportunities are maximized, including but not limited to:Provide product presentations to potential customers and security consultants.Tender response and preparation.System designs and integrated solutions. ReportingTimely return of all requests, weekly and monthly reports as required by managementTimely and accurate demand forecasting Qualifications and experience requiredMinimum 5 years experience essential in the Security or Information technology or telecomms environmentMinimum 3 years experience essential doing sales and business development in African countriesDegree or diploma an advantage Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesSecurity solutions knowledge.IT industry knowledge pref.Security industry knowledge pref.Telecomms pref.Project management skills.Dealer / distributor management.Market development geographic or vertical.Major Customer relationship management.Account Management Skills.Development of appropriately pitched communications.Development of business growth strategies.Operating in a resource constrained environment.Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview
