RequirementsBSc degree in Computer Science will be to your advantageAt least 8 - 12 years of overall experience in the software industryAt least 4 years of experience in a leadership roleExperience in backend development and infrastructure (AWS)Experience in developing for scaleRecent experience at a SaaS or other product-based company will be an advantageResponsibilities Take ownership of the delivery of the backend softwareCollaborate with product owners and other internal stakeholders to deliver new functionalityEnsure a reduction in the number of bugs and defectsManage the teams covering the development and engineering of CMS platforms (Drupal/Strapi), API platforms (node.js), messaging platforms (XMPP/SMPP/Java), along various other system components (including PHP/Python development)Define and implement standards and guidelines for developmentTake shared responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all services with the Operations team Work with the lead architect to ensure that all development is in line with the company strategy
