Company Description McCloy Consulting Limited is a team of dedicated civil and environmental engineers and geo-environmental consultants, specializing in multiple areas including Flood Risk Assessment, Hydraulic Modelling, Sustainable Drainage Systems, Contaminated Land Assessment, and Water Resource Assessment. We have completed numerous projects across the UK, Ireland and Europe.   Role Description Due to an expanding workload we have a number of roles for Hydraulic Modellers at various Grades . The role involves conducting Hydraulic modelling of flood risk, integrated urban drainage and nature based solutions. We have a variety of projects of a complex nature that will challenge you and enhance your CV. We have a team of senior modellers who will provide peer support and development. This is a hybrid role, located in the Belfast area but with the flexibility of remote work for the right candidate.   Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography or a related field
  • Technical skills in hydraulic modelling, data analysis and report writing is essential
  • Experience in using hydraulic modelling software such as Innovyze ICM, TUFLOW, Fluidit, MIKE Flood, HEC-RAS or Flood Modeller Pro,
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of project management principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of GIS, CAD and other relevant computer software
  • Experience in flood risk assessment is desirable but not necessary
