RISK INSIGHTS MANAGER UP TO £45,000 REMOTE This role does not offer sponsorship. This role is a core role within the company where you will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of risk strategy. You will support the Head of Risk in managing and mitigating financial, legal, and reputation risk to the company. THE COMPANY This company is an online marketplace. They have been named the UK’s fastest-growing tech company and are driving forward growth. THE ROLE You will be doing the following daily:
- Monitor, analyse, and investigate developing risks across all platform sellers.
- Collaborate with business intelligence and development teams to develop a proprietary risk model and rule engine.
- Apply learnings to the model and develop scalable processes for the wider Risk team.
- Monitor, analyse, and investigate transactional data for emerging fraud patterns such as CNP, ATO, Friendly Fraud, Triangulation Fraud, and Buyer/Seller Collusion.
- Develop fraud prevention models and utilise 3rd party rule engines to mitigate fraud risk.
- Develop and implement robust and scalable chargeback defences.
- Monitor, analyse, and investigate platform retailer onboarding and KYB processes for compliance with HMRC requirements for online marketplaces and DAC7/OECD reporting requirements.
- Manage analysis and reporting processes for the sales of regulated substances (Poisons Act).
- Experience in Risk Management.
- Knowledge and experience of Buyer Risk Management.
- Proficient in SQL and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group university.
- Up to £45,000 salary.
