Reports to: Head of Product We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Management Leader to join the Bullish Product Management team. As a Director of Product Management, you will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction and execution of our digital asset trading products. Your role will focus on the development of sophisticated trading solutions, including the integration of advanced trading APIs, the implementation of complex financial models, and the enhancement of algorithmic trading capabilities. Your expertise will drive the evolution of our trading platform, ensuring excellence in innovation, user experience, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that is passionate about building innovative products, specifically in the digital asset trading space, and what digital assets and blockchain can do for the financial services industry as a whole. Responsibilities:

• Help to craft and implement a strategic vision for our trading products, with a particular focus on derivatives, advanced trading APIs, and algorithmic trading solutions. Define & monitor product success metrics for these complex products
• Provide feedback on the technical development of trading products, including the design and integration of robust trading APIs, the deployment of high-performance trading engines, and the implementation of advanced order types and execution algorithms
• Utilize quantitative skills to develop and integrate complex financial models for pricing, risk management, and market simulation, ensuring our products offer sophisticated trading strategies and tools
• Perform in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact the crypto trading landscape, leveraging insights to maintain competitive advantage
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quant, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security and other teams to ensure the technical reliability, scalability, regulatory alignment and security of our trading platform
• Advocate for an exceptional user experience, ensuring that our trading products are accessible to traders of varying technical proficiencies while offering advanced features for professional and institutional users
• Maintain a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting digital asset trading, ensuring that all products comply with global financial regulations and industry standards, particularly in relation to algorithmic trading and financial derivatives
• Create, support and monitor Product Management best practices alongside other leaders
• Provide mentorship for other Product Management team members
• Some domestic & international travel is required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or preferably an advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)

• 10+ years in product management with a strong technical background, including extensive experience with trading platforms, trading APIs, and algorithmic trading systems
• Expert knowledge of derivatives markets and products, with experience in financial engineering, quantitative analysis, and mathematical modelling
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and deliver advanced trading solutions within the digital asset or traditional financial markets
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to product strategy and decision-making
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable being the “face of a product”
• Comfortable working in a dynamic organization where priorities can change frequently
• Experience working in a distributed organization
