Job Overview The Project Coordinator is expected to perform the job in a high security, non-camera phone environment. Core duty is to upgrade the Operating System (OS) or perform a one to one exchange of the user’s computing device. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and liaise with users to schedule tech refresh appointment
- Collect and unpack the desktop, notebooks, mobile phones, tablets & other mobile devices (collectively known as devices)
- Upgrade existing devices’ Operating Systems (OS)
- Setup the devices for OS imaging
- Install customer specific and non-standard applications and perform testing to ensure systems are working properly
- Provide logistic support (eg. Using trolley, boxes, strings) for transportation of goods within the camp between locations
- Deliver devices to users at respective customer premises
- Assist users to perform data-migration
- Perform manual configuration (including join domain)
- Trouble-shoot and resolve hardware and software issues related
- Brief the users on the list of hardware issuance, get user signoff and update inventory list
- Collect old devices & send to centralized storing area & process decommission activities
- Document, review and improve the Standard operating procedures
- Generate Reports
- Preparation of Cloning media and services
- Minimum NITEC or Diploma
- 2 years’ experience of IT support background
- Self-motivated, problem solving skills, desire to learn, team player, good communication skills
- Physically abled as will be required to carry desktops for setup
