We are looking for "Data Engineer" @ Sao Paulo, Brazil who wants to learn and transform his career. Technical Skills - PySpark - Palantir - Advanced SQL - Database Knowledge - SQL Server (preferably) - Python - Power BI - Basic Excel - Advanced English Experience

• Preferably someone who knows Insurance area
• Who has already worked on other Analytics/Database projects Preferably Senior
• Preferably in São Paulo/Londrina

Data Engineer Responsibilities:

• Analysing the Business requirements
• Discussing Business Requirements with Product Owner and Business SMEs
• Prepare ETL pipeline written in pySpark
• Reformulating existing frameworks to optimize their functioning.
• Testing such structures to ensure that they are fit for use.
• All unit testing results are capture and recorded in the system
• Performance Optimization of ETL pipeline time to time
• Data Ingestion from External and Internal systems
• Collaborating with stakeholders to update status on time to time.
• Upskilling with industry standards and technological advancements according to Industry trends

Data Engineer Requirements:

• Candidate with 4-6 yrs of relevant experience in Data engineering, Big data Developer with overall 8-10 years+ IT experience in data space
• Having Good Data/SQL Knowledge is must
• Having good knowledge on pySpark, ETL and Database would be added advantage.
• Proven experience as a data engineer, software developer
• Having good knowledge in Big Data/Hadoop/Hive concepts
• Proficiency in SQL, pySpark, python for writing simple to complex Data transformations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn new platform/technologies
• Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision
• Prior experience in Palantir foundry is good to have
• Experience in developing Data Engineering Utilities / frameworks
• Experience in any cloud technologies will be good to have
• Verbal and written English language proficiency
