EHS Specialist

The EHS Specialist, reporting to the EHS Lead, takes responsibility and ownership for all activities Associated with their assigned role. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for supporting ongoing development and monitoring of all elements of the EHS management system (SMS) on site, to ensure adoption and compliance with same. The EHS Specialist provides field support in the assessment and continuous improvements of safety systems and safe work practices, with a strong emphasis on the practical implementation of good industry practices within the facility operations in all department. They will liaise with key customers, including corporate colleagues and facility’s managers, supervisors and other colleagues to help develop, implement, support and lead the EHS programmes they are assigned. They must play an active role in process troubleshooting and development of continuous safety improvement projects.
