Qualified Accountant

• Practice Accountant - Must have Irish experience

An exciting opportunity has come up for a qualified accountant to join a medium sized practice on a hybrid / remote basis (limited travel to the office required). My client who is based in Limerick, is seeking an experienced candidate who is looking for a change. Their flexible approach to Accountancy would offer the right candidate a great work/ life balance. Your responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients.
• All areas of accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Preparation of audited accounts and supporting audit file (where necessary - client portfolio will be mainly audit exempt).
• Preparation of statutory returns.
• Managing/ training of juniors.
• Preparation of all tax returns.
• Other adhoc duties from time to time.

Your skills & experience:

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CPA
• 5 years PQE in an Irish practice setting.
• Excellent attention to detail & time management skills.
• Strong communication skills & confidence in client interactions.
• Commercially driven - grow the client base.
• A pragmatist who enjoys finding solutions and thinking outside the box.
