These jobs were popular with other job seekersHSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environmental) AtlantisR30 000 - R35 000 Per Month Negotiable on Qualification and years of relevant experienceREQUIREMENTS: Diploma in Safety, Health & Environmental SAMTRAC, NEBOSH or relevant3 -5 year's HSE experience gained ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment will be advantageous!Knowledge of relevant HSE legislation (OHS Act and Regulations, NEMA, COIDA, etc) ISO 14001, ISO 45001Risk management and assessmentStatutory compliance Proficiency on MS Office: Excel, Word and Power point are essentialFluency in English is essential Fluency in Afrikaans and / or iXhosa would be advantageous!Own reliable transport and valid driver's licenseRESPONSIBILITIES- Implement and sustain a positive health, safety and environmental culture through the application of the management systems framework- Build strong relationships across functions to ensure the organization understands their roles and responsibilities and are committed to driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture- Lead daily health, safety and environmental operations within the factory providing support to solve issues, including but not limited to health, safety and environmental compliance, risk reduction, incident investigation, management of change, contractor safety, emergency preparedness and response, pollution prevention and environmental sustainability with reference to the Company specific Management System Requirements- Contractor management including the review and storage of safety files and supporting functions in the collection and review of the information- Energy management and reduction planning according the Company CO2 reduction vision- Implement and maintain the ISO45000 Management System- Driving continuous improvement activities and gaps from audits- Lead the Behaviour Based Safety program within the Atlantis plant- Maintain the environmental management system and the implementation of these procedures.- Ensure an excellent regulatory compliance and achieve business and functional goals from safety and health perspectives- Conduct regular factory visits to identify areas for improvement, review progress of safety and health programs, clarify priorities and focus, brief management team on safety and health related issues and provide support- Oversight of Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Injury Management systems- Provide guidance and assist in the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan for the facility- Ensure that all working equipment / machinery is in a safe and good condition- Risk Assessment, Incident / Accident Investigations- COVID-19 managementDesired Experience & Qualification HSE, Officer, Health, Safety, Environmental, Atlantis, Automotive, Sector, RISK These jobs were popular with other job seekers
