We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Architectto join our dynamic team and lead the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.Successful candidates will initially be offered contract enagagements before permanent employment is to be considered. Based on the client engagement,Architects can choose to work on-site for our local clients, or join our international teams as a remote consultant. RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, DevOps, and IT operations, to understand business requirements and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutionsDesign and develop cloud architecture frameworks, patterns, and best practices, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and industry standardsLead the planning, implementation, and migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud, optimizing performance and cost-effectivenessEvaluate and recommend cloud service providers and technologies based on project requirements, performance, security, and cost considerationsIdentify opportunities for process automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve development workflows and efficiencyEnsure compliance with industry security standards and best practices, implementing robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to define cloud adoption strategies and provide guidance on cloud-related matters to ensure alignment with business objectivesMonitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing scalable solutions to meet growing demandsStay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending new tools and methodologies to enhance cloud capabilities.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Cloud Architect, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutionsStrong expertise in one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services such as compute, storage, networking, and securityExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormationSolid understanding of microservices architecture, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computingIn-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls for cloud-based applicationsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issuesStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to lead and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.WHY JOIN US?Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters creativity and innovationLead impactful projects and influence the company's cloud strategyBenefit from ongoing professional development and opportunities for growthCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive benefitsFlexible work arrangements and a positive work-life balance.
