Purpose of the Role: As a result of SGHC's listing on New York Stock Exchange, the Company is required to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley act (SOX), including the requirements to have appropriate controls over our key IT-systems. This role reports into the Head of Internal Control and SOX Compliance and is responsible for oversight and implementation of our IT controls across the Group. The role will be responsible to keep up to date with latest regulatory (PCAOB, SEC) requirements, identifying risks and issues and developing pragmatic solutions for the business. Duties include, but not limited to: Liaise with Tech stakeholders and explain the requirements. Develop and maintaining scoping of IT systems for ICFR (SOX) requirements. Facilitate external and Internal IT audit, including timelines. Collecting Control evidence from control owners and communicating issues. Initiating policies review and leading standardisation of policies across segments. Produce requirements documentation in a format that stakeholders understand. Monitoring of controls execution dashboards and follow-up with control owners. Updating IT control matrices in line with IT and business developments. Implementation of IT controls for new significant systems and handing over the process and controls to IT and Business owners. Developing recommendations and remediations plans and communicating them to key stakeholders. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Degree qualification in a relevant field IT Audit relevant certification (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA) preferable 3 - 5 years' experience of IT Audit or similar roles in SOX environment Excellent technical and analytical abilities, including familiarity with application and IT general controls, technical environments and emerging IT trends; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management; Proven experience in IT General Controls (ITGC); Ability to identify and assess complex IT risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business environment and to express ideas clearly to all levels; Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau or similar data analytics tool; Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to the Combiined F and Organizational Culture Experience with online gambling or technology industry Experience with highly regulated environments Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of accounting standards is desirable but not mandatory Person Specifications:Accountability and executionAdaptability and flexibilityEffectiveness and deliveryInitiating actionOrganization and planningCommunicationBuilding relationshipsTeam orientationResilience *Please note we will apply relevance to our Talent Management and Talent Development Programme as part of our recruitment process. *Shortlisted candidates may need to complete an assessment.   This position requires trust and honesty it has access to customers financial details - therefore a credit and criminal record check will be conducted.
