Vacancy: Operations Manager - Cape Town, Western CapeOur Client, a leader in Hospitality Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Operations Manager. Applicants need to reside in and around the Cape Town area only.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure all stores achieve set GPS per benchmarks, Labour below 10 (Ten) %, and EBITDA 10 (Ten) %.Achieve set sales budgets and drive sales through effective marketing ideas, e.g., Flyers, Billboards, or Newspapers.Assist and prepare accurate figures for Management meetings.Visit each store regularly and record an action sheet timeously.Update the store synopsis document monthly.Ensure each store drives guest programs.Ensure food quality, customer service, and hygiene are maintained continuously.Enforce SOP's and an Operations manual in all stores.Utilize Pedros intellectual property to advise and guide store managers.Ensure store-level controls are good on the financial and stock side.Advise on HR matters to stores.Drive the brand values.Conduct Ops audits as per cycle.Analyse weekly figures and GPS.Communicate formally to all stores as per audits or action sheets.Improve store ratings on visits to a minimum average of 3.5 (Three. Five).Analyse and manage weekly expense trackers for stores.Submit accurate weekly planners for approval as per the set format.Achieve mystery shoppers above 85 (Eighty-five) %.Conduct performance appraisals for managers every 6 (six) months.Sign off stores' weekly roosters and ensure they are within the set budget by using the standard labourer module template.Perform any ad-hoc Operations tasks as per required.Desired Experience & QualificationGrade 12 (Twelve) or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field.Proven work experience as Operations Manager or in a similar role.Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and Operations Management.Experience in budgeting and forecasting.Familiarity with business and financial principles.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Leadership ability.Understanding general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow management.Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
