Job Description:
An opportunity exists for a Medical Technician/Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the team in the Microbiology department at our Kimberley branch. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of displaying Microbiology competence and who has a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.

Job Requirements:
Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
Adaptability
Must have experience with basic trouble shooting on instruments
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Must have an acceptable track record/performance record with regard to the technical and behavioural competencies required to perform in this position
Problem-solving ability
Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
Stress resistance and tenacity
Result-orientated
Must have at least a year of Microbiology experience post HPCSA registration
Current registration with the HPCSA in Microbiology/Clinical Pathology
National diploma/degree qualification or Medical Technician Certificate in Microbiology/Clinical Pathology
Computer literate with Meditech knowledge is advantageous
Must be fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
