Job details
• Be able to achieve high standardsin teaching effectively to the required age group measured in thepupil s application of the material taught, classroom managementand assessment, recording and reporting pupilsprogress.• Have in-depth knowledge of thesubject• Contribute to the school individuallyand through the PE department-sponsored events•Evaluate academic and social growth of students, prepares reportcards, and keep accurate attendance and graderecords.• Develop curricula, present lessons,evaluate student performance.• In charge ofpreparing and grading examinations, working with parents on studentperformance, and supervising studentbehaviour.• Work in teams with the rest of thefaculty to prepare standardised tests.•Participate in the planning and implementation of theirschool's policies and regulations for allstudents.• Make accurate and productive use ofassessment including using data to monitor progress, set targetsand plan subsequent lessons.• Give studentsregular feedback, both orally and, through accurate and diagnosticmarking in line with the School s marking policy encouragingstudents to respond to the feedback.• Recordand make use of summative and formative assessments to secureprogress.• Undertaking pastoralduties.• Participate in meetings at school,which relate to the curriculum for the school or the administrationor organisation of the school, including pastoralarrangements.• Attend parents meetings and beappropriately prepared to discuss student achievement andwell-being.
