Corporate Communications Hang Seng's Corporate Communications Department formulates and executes compelling communications programmes that promote the Bank's corporate image, products and services. It monitors public opinions about the Bank and ensures important messages are conveyed in a timely and effective manner. The Department also helps safeguard Hang Seng's brand and position as the leading domestic bank in Hong Kong by advising on reputational matters and strengthening relationships with its stakeholders. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Corporate Communications Department as External Communications Officer. The External Communications Officer is expected to support the execution of strategic External Communications plan for the Bank. The role holder will also support the daily operations of the team, while ensuring all internal infrastructure is in place for effective communications. Principal responsibilities Operational Management and Corporate Content

• Manage the information depository and distribution list for Corporate Communications
• Update, keep track and maintain corporate materials and literature
• Support the team on cost and budget control

• Research on external opportunities to build brand and awareness of the Bank
• Support the team in campaign execution, including logistic arrangement of media and corporate events
• Support the management of media and vendor relationships
• Lead media and social monitoring and generate daily report with the support of other team members
• Manage and update media lists. Build media database and keep track on our media relations
• Manage media coverage report and keep track on spokesperson's relevant activities
• Support on reputational risk management

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• A self-motivated individual and keen learner with strong interests in media, public relations or content development
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Chinese and English
• Agency background is a plus
