About The Role

The QA Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous planning, execution, and leadership. This position is responsible for creating quality assurance processes, defining standards and assessing risk to ensure adherence to quality assurance best practice & compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborating closely with Delivery Leads, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, the QA Lead will drive quality assurance processes and strategies across the organisation. They will be responsible for:

• Developing comprehensive test strategies based on project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Collaborating with Delivery Leads and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and priorities.
• Design program and project-level QA strategies aligning with project goals.
• Establishing software quality assurance processes and best practices across the organisation.
• Defining standards for test case design, documentation, and execution.
• Coaching the execution of test cases and test suites to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Guide the implementation of test automation strategies.

About You

• Experience in software testing including manual and automated testing methodologies across various types of projects and technologies.
• Extensive experience in a variety of test frameworks and tools at all levels of the testing pyramid, examples include Jest, React testing library, Playwright, and Storybook Interaction Test.
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance principles, processes, and methodologies.
• Experience with test metrics and test result analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working within an Agile environment.
