  • Are you ready for a thrilling new challenge? We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, a pivotal role designed for a skilled headhunter & traditional recruiter with a proven track record of identifying and recruiting top talents across Canada and North America.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in talent acquisition within the fast-paced and ever-evolving entertainment and creative industries, coupled with a passion for sourcing exceptional talent and building lasting industry relationships.
  • This role involves developing and implementing innovative and diverse sourcing and recruiting strategies to build a team of high-caliber, strong performers across the organization.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement innovative, diverse sourcing strategies to attract a wide range of talent, combining traditional recruitment methods with proactive headhunting tactics.
  • Utilize headhunting techniques to proactively search for and engage with top Talent Agents across Canada and North America, ensuring a pipeline of high-caliber candidates for current and future openings.
  • Work closely with company leaders and HR to understand upcoming hiring needs, align on recruitment strategies, and balance the workload across different roles and departments.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from initial contact through to offer stage, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all candidates.
  • Tailor communication strategies to maintain ongoing engagement with potential candidates from various regions and industries.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with talent within the entertainment and creative industries, as well as with industry partners, educational institutions, and professional organizations to support talent pipeline development.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes and practices to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure and improve recruitment performance.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the recruitment team and provide recruitment training to hiring managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence in talent acquisition.
  • Stay abreast of trends and developments in the entertainment, creative, and marketing industries, leveraging insights to inform recruitment strategies and practices.
  • Participate in industry events and networks to represent the company and identify potential recruitment opportunities

What you bring to the table

  • At least 3+ years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, covering a wide range of functions and levels of seniority.
  • Previous experience with recruitment in multiple locations, particularly in the US and Canada.
  • Previous experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter as well as a variety of sourcing tools and platforms to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Experience with using (and implementing, a plus!) Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for streamlining the recruitment process, tracking candidate progress, and ensuring efficient candidate management.
  • Flexibility to adjust recruitment practices and strategies in response to the fast-paced, evolving needs of the organization and the broader industry landscape
  • Strong background in headhunting, with proven strategies for targeting and engaging high-caliber candidates for specialized and senior-level positions, particularly in the entertainment, creative, and marketing industries.
  • Full bilingualism in English and French is required.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster connections with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, ensuring a collaborative recruitment process
