Open To: Holders of Baseline   Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, (Onsite or Remote)   The Technology Security team plays a pivotal role in our cyber security daily operations, ensuring that we create and maintain a secure cyber environment.   As a Technical Project Manager, you will spearhead the lifecycle replacement project of our core network infrastructure, encompassing Software-Defined Networking (SDN), F5 firewalls, cloud routers, NetApp storage, and Commvault backup solutions. Collaborating closely with Data Centre & Network Team, Business Applications and Infrastructure teams, and key stakeholders, you'll ensure seamless execution while aligning with organizational objectives. As you will be working in a geographically dispersed team, you will have strong capabilities in self-managing work and collaborating with people remotely, remaining connected to your team.   Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, encompassing core network migration, firewall upgrades, cloud router integration, and storage and backup modernization.
  • Coordinate diverse project resources, including internal teams, vendors, and contractors, to optimize efficiency and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, applying technical expertise to overcome challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes to secure necessary hardware, software, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and data management regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement robust change management processes, facilitating smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, including plans, reports, and change logs, to support accountability and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Essential Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience  
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant industry certifications/experience (Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba, PRINCE2/PMP)
  • Proven track record as a Technical Project Manager, driving complex infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth understanding of core networking technologies, including SDN principles, firewall configurations, cloud networking, storage systems, and backup solutionC
