Job Summary:We're seeking a Software Development Manager (SDM) to lead one or more of our SCRUM teams, consisting of a Project Manager, Product Owner, developers, and QA engineers. The successful candidate will excel in overseeing multiple projects, ensuring their timely completion, handling escalations, and working closely with the team to address challenges. This includes monitoring team and individual KPIs and coaching team members to improve.Agile Advocate: Passionate agile practitioner with a focus on getting things done.Project Shaping: Take a leading part in shaping projects from inception to the ready-for-development state. Your strategic vision and technical excellence will be instrumental in defining project scopes, objectives, and actionable plans.Technical Architectural Leadership: As the SDM, you'll be the cornerstone of our technical endeavors. You will collaborate with the Chief Architect and Principal developers to establish and maintain architectural and code quality standards. Your leadership and oversight will guide teams in crafting cutting-edge solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. You will be the go-to person for technical insights during client meetings, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.Talent Acquisition: Identify top technical talent that resonates with our company culture. Your track record in hiring and retaining exceptional individuals will drive our team's growth.Qualifications:Strong Managerial Skills: 2+ years of continuous experience managing and leading product development, ideally in a SaaS environment. 4+ years of experience in managing projects in an Agile environment. Ability to hire technical specialists, grow and lead existing team members.Excellent Communication: Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical complexities and client understanding. Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is imperative. You must excel in client meetings, articulating technical concepts clearly and confidently, and fostering seamless communication within the team.Project Scoping: Demonstrated success in project scoping, defining objectives, and strategizing actionable plans.Technical Proficiency: Possess a strong background in software development, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in development of enterprise-level applications.
