Who are we?ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) was chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project – the largest project in Metrolinx’s GO Expansion. Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Internship DescriptionThe 12-week summer internship program will provide interns with the opportunity to work with industry experts and professionals who support the broad reach of ONxpress Operations Inc different areas of business. Including our IT department, Cyber security, Revenue Vehicle Maintenance, Fixed Asset Management, Mobilization, Train Service Controllers, Train Crew, HR, Legal, Finance Features of the program include:Participation in ONxpress Operations Inc’s summer analyst program with students joining various groups and services across CanadaEngaging training programs presented by department SME's highlighting different areas of the business and your own departmentPartnering with an industry expert who will serve as a supervisor during the program and provide guidance on projectsPairing with a mentor who will serve as an additional advisor on skill development, networking, and other individual needsExposure to other areas within OOI’s broader organization Join various intern program initiatives such as speaker series, social events, volunteer day and other team building activities through the summerWork on exciting projects, further develop your skillset, and learn more about how your team helps make the largest capital project to date happen in Canada. The work location for this role can include a mix of working remotely and working in our office to enable delivery and cultivate team building relationships. Please note that with all of our roles, you should expect some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with peers, leaders and communities. RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary university/college program. Authorized to legally work in Canada. Why Us?
