Explore our newly created role! Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the Learning and Development Specialist is a pivotal role within the Group HR Team. You will play a key role in shaping and expanding our learning and talent development offerings across Uniphar, collaborating closely with subject matter experts on designing, developing and facilitating engaging learning content and projects. You will build and enhance our onboarding, graduate and in house programs which will evolve our learning culture. You will collaborate across the HR team to build out and execute strategies on employee development plans, competencies, succession planning, performance management and talent reviews. As a vital member of the Uniphar Group HR team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to group-wide strategic HR projects, aligning with the vision and strategy to support Uniphar's growing 3000+ workforce. Role Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deliver effective learning interventions (including blended solutions) with input from subject matter experts to achieve learning outcomes which will improve performance, enhance retention and will create an engaging culture of learning.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of courses, programs and learning solutions to drive continuous improvements.
  • Monitor and report on Learning and Development (L&D) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess impacts.
  • Support the maintenance of our Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other Learning & Performance tools.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and conduct comprehensive learning needs analysis to identify current & future learning needs.
  • Apply current adult learning theories and evaluation methodologies to craft structured and impactful learning paths with measurable learning outcomes to create the learning and development offering.
  • Coordinate and drive the global On Boarding and Performance Management strategy across all divisions, collaborating with HR Business Partners to ensure the strategy is implemented and supported.
  • Effectively manage multiple L&D projects and initiatives simultaneously, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Skills & Experiences
  • 5+ years' experience as a Learning & Development Specialist.
  • Project Management experience or experience managing multiple learning projects.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to guide and coach others at all levels.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
  • Experience of the latest Talent thinking but in practical terms – not just a theory
  • Ability to produce a diversity of learning materials, including e-learning, guides, manuals, bringing knowledge of new methods and theories into the work produced.
  • Confident facilitator.
  • Actively contribute as part of a team and work towards achieving team goals and outcomes.
Global Nature of the Role: This role has a global scope, requiring occasional travel. While the location is flexible (work from home or any Uniphar office worldwide), face-to-face interactions in City West (Dublin) will be necessary.
