Head of Trading

Leading Petrochemical trading house is looking for suitable candidates for a newly created role in Singapore to handle their regional business as Head of Trading. Job Responsibilities:

• Established network and proven track record with petrochemical trading within the region.
• Familiar with trading process and model with crude oil features and derivatives.
• Responsible for analysing working propose optimization solution for refinery crude oil purchasing: variety, quantity, period, pricing and hedging plan.
• Ensure good operational efficiency through effective cost management while achieving high standards of product quality and productivity during the operations.
• Drive and enable new business opportunities, particularly in relation to products and solutions with a focus on ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of the company products and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar capacity
• Degree Holder in Business/Management/Economics or relevant field
• Experience in Bitumen, Aromatics, Benzene, Toluene, Polymers, Olefins, and Paraffin is highly advantageous
• Knowledge in international trading-Incoterms and shipping documents
• Ability to communicate in Chinese and English, position needs to work closely with management and colleagues in China.
