Mobile Engineering Services (MES) Director, SG Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced Engineering Services Manager to oversee a team of professionals and ensure the delivery of top-notch engineering services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to establish and cultivate client relationships. This role necessitates expertise in budgeting and contract management, as well as the promotion of teamwork and a continuous improvement mindset Responsibilities Client Satisfaction : Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering excellent engineering services and meeting client expectations consistently. Strive for positive feedback, repeat business, and long-term client relationships. Revenue Growth : Drive revenue growth by implementing strategies to acquire new clients, expand services within existing clients, and increase market share in the region. Meet or exceed annual revenue targets. Operational Efficiency : Continuously improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs. Focus on optimizing resource allocation and leveraging technology tools. Innovation and Technology Adoption : Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering services. Foster a culture of innovation and encourage the adoption of new technologies to enhance service offerings and deliver exceptional value to clients. People Development and Engagement : Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Provide opportunities for skill-building, career growth, and professional development. Create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement. Regularly seek feedback from team members and take action to address their needs and concerns. Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, such as recognition programs, work-life balance initiatives, and employee wellness programs. Demonstrate corporate social responsibility by giving back to the community and participating in relevant initiatives. Experience: The successful candidate should possess the following experience:
  • Proven track record of at least 15 ~ 20 years in the field of engineering services, with a focus on leading and managing teams.
  • Strong experience in delivering engineering services to clients, preferably in the commercial real estate.
  • Extensive knowledge of building operations and client delivery, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and asset management.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial controls related to engineering services.
  • Experience in developing and implementing new business solutions to drive growth and expand services.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies used in engineering services, such as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Data Management and Monitoring Systems (DMMS).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience in managing contracts and negotiating vendor agreements.
  • Previous exposure to working in a multinational or diverse team environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and a strong commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to maximize their potential and achieve performance goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
