Supply Chain Lead

Our client is a leading FMCG company looking to hire a Supply Chain lead for their manufacturing set up based in Bahrain. The Supply Chain Lead plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the flow of goods, services, and information within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations. Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
• Overseeing inventory management and demand forecasting to meet customer needs
• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
• Evaluating and improving supply chain processes to enhance overall performance
• Managing logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Leading cross-functional teams to achieve supply chain goals and objectives
• Monitoring and mitigating supply chain risks
• Utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly reporting on supply chain metrics
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in supply chain management or related roles
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and supply chain optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management
• Certifications in supply chain management or related areas is a plus
• Understanding of global logistics and international trade regulations
