Role Objective The Derivatives Sales Manager will be responsible for Derivative sales to the bank’s customers and manage business performance, profitability, new product development, launching new to bank products, customer acquisition, management and retention of customers in line with the internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and work closely with the Department Head – Treasury Sales to achieve the department’s objectives. Ensure achievement of set targets/ objectives, business growth and expansion of the Treasury Sales function. Supervise and provide guidance to Senior Sales Officers in efficient execution of their day-to-day tasks. Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead initiatives to be a leading bank in Qatar offering treasury solutions to customers in FX, Interest Rates, Derivatives and Investment solutions. • Ensure effective coverage of key treasury relationships with the best services and solutions • Managing new product development including end to end process, liaising with internal stakeholders and setting up policies and procedures documentation. • Contribute to the team’s foray into online execution brokerage business which will include equities, FX, fixed income and derivatives. • Align Treasury Sales initiatives and business plans with the overall corporate objectives / Treasury and Investments framework. • Formulate, and ensure that the section’s deliverables are within agreed SLAs. Oversee and ensure that timely, accurate and complete analysis/ reports are provided in a timely manner to the Department Head and respective internal stakeholders. • Ensure achievement of sales targets assigned to the team, ensuring all performance standards are met in terms of the business targets, controls, compliance, and quality standards. • Actively manage treasury relationships and drive FX flows sales and generate revenue for the bank through the banks corporate as well as retail business. • Provide regular market updates to clients on currencies, interest rates and financial markets in general. • Responsible for new product development. Working with multiple stakeholders to launch new products, working on the end to end cycle. • Ability to write up product notes, policies and procedures and work with various stakeholders to take to execution. • Responsible for development and growth of the online treasury business. Actively coordinate with stakeholders from corporate & retail to grow the customer base and ensure increase in transaction volumes. • Initiate customer/prospect visits / other viable means to ascertain needs on value proposition, requirements, and gaps in the respective market segment in terms of the treasury products assigned. • Liaise with the Product & Innovation section, and Risk Management function, in identifying, and reporting on potential operational risk for the treasury products. • Perform the investigation, and root cause analysis on significant occurrences/service incidents data and trends that adversely impact the pre-established quality assurance/service delivery standards, and ensure implementation of corrective action through collaborative efforts. • Conduct sessions for the relevant external / internal stakeholders for clear understanding of various treasury product value proposition, updates /changes, customer, service excellence, procedures and latest promotions. Education, Experience and Skills Required

  • University graduate
  • Minimum 2 years' of experience
  • Experience in Equity brokerage & Sales
  • Bi-lingual with Arabic & English
