Company Profile: Xtracta has been in operation for 14 years and has built a global customer base of partners and end-users utilising its technology. The company has experienced fast growth and is looking to expand its resources to match growing demand. Its primary base and the majority of its team are located in Auckland, New Zealand; alongside off-shore teams in other countries. The company develops a product that captures data from a range of documents using artificial intelligence and has users around the world, the company is needing to expand its resources to meet client demand and move into new areas of research. Role We are looking for enthusiastic and bright engineers who are familiar with and want to use cutting edge technologies and techniques in web development. Candidates must have an excellent command of the English language with an ability to collaborate with clients. The role includes:
- Scoping projects
- System design
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Reviewing other team members' code (providing feedback and guidance where necessary)
- At least bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or an ability to show high levels of competence if not)
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Proficiency in
- Node.js | NestJS framework
- React.js
- TypeScript
- SQL
- Building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Jest, etc)
- Experience with DockerÂ
- Knowledge of PHP | Codeigniter framework
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with orchestration systems like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring systems like Grafana & InfluxDB, Splunk
- Familiarity with logging systems like Elasticsearch & Kibana
- Familiarity with messaging services like NATS, Redis
- Experience with AWSÂ
