Apply remote type Hybrid locations Auckland (Newmarket) time type Full time posted on Posted 3 Days Ago job requisition id Essity242002 About the role: Reporting to the International Transport Manager, as a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in tracking and facilitating international inbound shipments of goods, ensuring all documents are processed before stock arrives at its destination port as well as the maintenance of compliance to shipping regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations. What you will Do:
  • Manage and track international shipments.
  • Resolve any issues in relation to logistic activities in a timely manner ensuring any shipping delays are communicated to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain critical data in relation to inbound and outbound shipments volume.
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as required.
About You: We are looking for someone who has previous international shipping and freight forwarding experience and the capability to ensure that our goods reach their destination accurately and efficiently. To be considered for this role you will possess:
  • 3 years working in the logistics space with international shipping and warehousing experience is highly desirable (particularly in Europe and Asia)
  • Relationships with international warehouses and 3PLs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure within a fast – paced environment
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
