Our applications will focus on enabling our users to provide time-critical, life-saving communications to residents and businesses utilizing our risk intelligence, visualization, and alerting platforms. What You'll Do:
- Work collaboratively with a global team of full-stack developers.
- Develop using modern web technologies (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Develop using modern platform technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, AWS)
- Participate in Scrum processes
- Work across the entire Everbridge platform, implementing new capabilities
- Collaborate across engineering teams and guide adoption of best practices within the team
- Participate in routine maintenance of the system to include software deficiency resolution
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development in a Java or Python full-stack environment.
- 3+ years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
- 2+ years of experience in a cloud-based deployment environment (e.g. AWS)
- 1+ years experience with containerization (e.g. – Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience working with DevOps automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, salt)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Ability to work independently and remotely while also being able to work closely with team members and collaborate with other teams.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience with geospatial technologies
- Experience working with public safety projects
- Systems experience (e.g. Linux, AWS VPC, IAM, etc.)
