Manufacturing Senior Safety Specialist

Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities:

• Contribute Process Safety Engineering expertise, specializing in process design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with standards and meet consumer expectations for both new and existing products/formulas during the manufacturing process.
• Take the lead in designing key Strategic Capital Programs and Initiatives.
• Incorporate innovative solutions and leverage new technology in designs to deliver enhanced value to the business.
• Draw upon best practices from divisions and other industries to achieve world-class performance in plant and equipment design.
• Offer technical guidance throughout project design and implementation, including Commissioning & Process Qualification, ensuring the viability of technology in the proposed configuration.
• Apply Engineering first principles, scientific methods, and processing systems knowledge to develop technical process equipment solutions that create new business opportunities and address existing equipment needs.
• Establish sustainable engineering practices and programs to ensure sustainability in plant design and operation.

• 5-10 years of experience in the process industry
• Extensive experience in design and project management.
• Degree qualification in Chemical, Process, or an equivalent engineering discipline. Experience required in the following areas:
• Application of technical standards (Machinery Safety, Atex Directives, FM Global data sheets, etc.)
• Process safety.
