Honestly Farm Kitchens - At Honestly Farm Kitchens we run two busy restaurants, one located in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and one by the beach in Strandhill, Co. Sligo . We also own Drumanilra Organic Farm where we raise organic livestock and cultivate a market garden for supply to our restaurants. We have an organic bakery, Carraig Rua Bakery , which supplies our restaurants with organic breads and desserts. Our restaurants aim to connect our diners with local, organic, wholesome and sustainable food . We currently employ over 70 people in the North West region and have exciting plans to grow. We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our Finance team. You will prepare the accounts for our two busy restaurants, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to support the growth of our business . You will work alongside a second Finance Administrator who processes our payroll and prepares the accounts for our Head Office, Farm, Bakery and Preparation Kitchen. Keep reading IF:

  • You are proficient in SAGE 50 Accounts and an intermediate to advance MS Excel user.
We would love to hear from you. The Role: We want someone who will :-
  • Prepare weekly accounts for our two restaurants using SAGE 50.
  • Reconcile goods-in dockets with supplier invoices, post invoices, update cost price changes in our EPOS database, follow up credit note requests.
  • Manage the creditors ledger: reconcile supplier statements and process bank payments.
  • Manage the debtors ledger: post Sales Z Reads to SAGE (export from our EPOS system), reconcile cash and credit card receipts
  • Weekly Bank Reconciliation
  • Post Journals
  • Prepare VAT Returns
  • Maintain a fixed Asset register.
  • Work with our EPOS Point of Sale System, and the Restaurant & Kitchen Managers, to maintain our product database, process monthly stock-takes, manage gift cards and customer loyalty points. (Full training provided)
  • Prepare Weekly KPI Reports for our Restaurant Managers
  • Process our Month End Routine & Prepare Monthly Management Accounts in SAGE
  • Additional duties as required
The Peron: You will be someone who has: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role. Hospitality or Retail experience essential. Accounts Technician Qualification or similar Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) Advanced proficiency in Sage 50 Accounting software Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. Experience with Revenue Online & Online Banking Experience with EPOS systems an advantage (training will be provided) What you need to know: You will be part of a team of two in the Finance Department and report to the Business Owners. This role is a hybrid role and can combine work in our offices in Elphin Street, Boyle, Co. Roscommon with up to two days per week home-working, subject to our home-working policy. You will need a clean driving licence and your own transport as travel between sites may be required. (Expenses and Mileage Provided) This is a flexible 40 hours per week role (core hours from 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:

Work Location: Based in our offices in Boyle, Co. Roscommon. (Close to the towns of Sligo and Carrick on Shannon).
