This is a remote position. Clients three main areas of focus include Perfecting Customer Experience Powering Public Safety and Financial Crime Prevention & Compliance. In the realm of financial crime prevention and compliance Client helps financial institutions detect and prevent frauds manage regulatory compliance and identify money laundering threats effectively. Their holistic approach provides institutions with a clear view of risk and enables efficient issue resolution in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape. Position: IT Project Manager Position Overview: an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in implementing enterprise applications within the financial industry. Ideally the candidate should have experience working with analytical applications as a vendor. Actimize has an extensive customer base in the region which includes major multinational banks. Job Location: Sydney Responsibilities: Lead multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that products and deliverables meet contract and workplan specifications and deadlines with minimal supervision. Build and maintain strong client relationships with senior IT and business managers acting as the main point of contact throughout all project phases. Manage daytoday client relationships translate customer contracts into comprehensive project plans and oversee endtoend delivery. This includes performing project office tasks coordinating internal resources providing status reports managing billing etc. Proactively manage project conflicts dependencies changes to scope cost or schedule risks and issues. Ensure that plans are in place to mitigate them urgently and communicate these to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Execute Hybrid and Agile projects/programs as necessary. Take on the role of Scrum Master when required. Support users during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) product acceptance and handover for customer support. Acquire knowledge in Actimize products and data requirements through organized training selfstudy and engagement with client business and technology stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Serve as a liaison between the customer and Actimize offices across multiple geographies. Effectively communicate among multiple internal interfaces/stakeholders in a global matrix environment to achieve project objectives. Create and maintain all required project artifacts/documentation. Responsible for P&L management for all project implementations. Generate professional services revenue from existing clients.
Requirements
Qualifications: 810 years of customerfacing PM experience managing multiple complex projects. SaaS experience preferred. Computer Science or Engineering background MBA advantageous. External consulting or professional services experience at an enterprise software vendor. Strong client relationship skills with a sales orientation. Experience delivering productbased enterprise solutions for the financial services industry with AML Fraud or Compliance experience a plus. Experience in dataintensive system implementation. Strong P&L focus. Ability to thrive in a timesensitive highenergy and demanding entrepreneurial environment while balancing internal and external demands. Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with flexibility to adapt project scope to changing markets and client demands. Proactive identification and resolution of technical and project delivery issues. PMP/PRINCE2 certification or equivalent preferred.
