Head of Estimation Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the cost estimate development for a large oil and gas project
• Work with the Project team, prepare the estimating strategy and basis of estimate
• Arrange and conduct department, discipline, and project reviews on estimates
• Review and assess the accuracy of all aspects of estimates, rates, benchmarks, trends
• Lead or provide input to the estimate risk analysis and providing contingency recommendations
• Prepare final estimate summaries and analyzing each section for scope, pricing, and completeness
• Manage and direct a team of estimators in the project; assign the duties and scope for the team of estimators
• Make estimate presentations to Wood and Client management

• Minimum Bachelor's of Engineering Degree
• Minimum 16 years post graduate experience
• Minimum 8 years' experience in the refining and petrochemical industries
• Minimum 8 years' experience in the designation
