    Job Description

    Job Purpose As an integral member of the Programme Management team, the purpose of this role is to support compliance activities associated with certifications of products and sites on the Informed Certification Programmes, to support ongoing post-certification surveillance activities and to engage in administration of the Informed Certification Programmes for LGC Sport and Specialised Analytical Services (SSAS). Accountabilities
    • Confirm that all relevant programme documentation and sample testing has been completed with satisfactory results to allow certification of products, ingredients and sites on Informed programmes. Generate and issue certificates to Members upon completion of certification.
    • Work closely with manufacturing sites and LGC colleagues to facilitate certification through required compliance activities.
    • Track blind sampling, ensuring samples are purchased and submitted in line with programme requirements.
    • Assist in post-certification surveillance activities, ensuring compliance against programme requirements (including manufacturer re-reviews and Member reviews).
    • Assist in the management and monitoring of programme non-compliance cases, working closely with colleagues and Members to achieve successful resolution.
    • Work cohesively with Programme Management colleagues to review Manufacturing Assessment Questionnaires (MAQs) and raw material lists against programme criteria.
    • Contribute to report preparation, monitoring and management of actions in relation to Informed Manufacturer site audits, attending onsite audits (with an experienced member of staff where necessary) and liaising directly with Members.
    • Generate and distribute data reports to ensure internal teams are fully aware of relevant programme management activities and required actions.
    • Ensure full traceability of all records by following group record keeping procedures. Organise and maintain documents both in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Salesforce) and common shared drives as appropriate.
    • Field basic technical and compliance enquiries from commercial and operational teams and when requested, Members.
    • Where required, perform relevant invoicing activities.
    • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to provide in-country support to other functions.
    • Act in compliance with the Fordham site Health & Safety Policy.
    Role Dimensions
    • Develop a sound awareness and knowledge of programme acceptance criteria, relevant quality standards and scientific techniques employed.
    • Develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships, providing professional and expert communication relating to programme compliance matters.
    • Communicate effectively with relevant internal groups (e.g. Operations, Commercial, Marketing) to support administration of programme compliance.
    • Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of programme administration, generating and supporting implementation of improvement ideas.
    • Make timely and informed decisions, referring to Assistant Programme Manager or above where necessary.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science, business or related field.
    • Strong relevant language skills (fluent Japanese and English) to ensure effective communication with customers and wider LGC staff. Ability to understand, interpret, translate and correctly convey to customers all programme criteria.
    • Strong performer with good written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
    • Well organised with acute attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across multiple time zones and cultures.
    • Excellent time management skills - ability to multitask on numerous projects.
    • Ability to identify and contribute to solutions to problems that hinder process efficiency, customer care and programme effectiveness.
    • Role may involve travel.
