Job Description:

Work Term: Temporary Work Language: English Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Asset languages: Mandarin, Cantonese Work site environment: Outdoors Work setting: Residential construction, Commercial and/or industrial construction, Office building Budgetary responsibility: $0 - $100,000 Tasks:

1. Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
2. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
3. Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities
4. Plan and manage budgets
5. Develop and implement quality control programs
6. Develop risk management plans
7. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
8. Prepare reports

Supervision: 3-4 people Computer and technology knowledge: Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Mac OS Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools Area of specialization: Project management Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Own tools/equipment, Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Team player Screening questions:
