Job Description This Business Analyst position requires a focus on client success, client-facing skills and a strong understanding of the project lifecycle and software development lifecycle. You must bring leadership, analytical thinking, and be an inherent curiosity to the role. The successful candidate would be detail oriented with the ability and eagerness to learn and understand business, customer and technology needs. You are a creative thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and embrace detail but summarize and express it clearly and accurately.This opportunity is based fully onsite at our Mississauga, ON office location. WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
  • Lead projects from a Solution Delivery perspective, from requirements gathering, design to delivery in an Agile, Scrum-based, environment and support project and program managers to build project plans and timelines
  • Support the Project Manager in both Agile and Waterfall projects
  • Build and maintain accurate User Stories / Business Requirements with User Acceptance criteria that will be used by developers, testers and shared with clients to ensure that business value is effectively captured and realized
  • Liaise between the client and project team in evaluating business value of User stories / Business Requirements and prioritizing them for execution by the team.
  • Position solutions and options to business stakeholders
  • Support and collaborate with the development team during the implementation of the requirements in order to clarify and refine User Stories.
  • Collaborate upstream with strategy team and downstream with Technology Architect
  • Create supporting technical documentation (matrices, sample calculations, field definitions, flow diagrams) where UI/UX designs and API definitions do not capture nuanced product requirements
  • Play a senior consulting role for specific areas of domain expertise including technology and solution choices to implement the solution.
  • Direct development methodology and play a role of technical leader within the team. This includes- supervising, mentoring and coaching Developers and acting as a positive and supportive force within the team
  • Act as the Functional lead on complex projects from conception to implementation including leading interactions with internal architects, and/or 3rd. party Systems Integrators.
  • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and support of in house built and procured production systems
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
  • 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, on large and complex technology projects with a focus on Sales and Customer service in the Manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with large and medium size projects that involve a combination of internal teams and external partners
  • Business process flows and modelling
  • Strong analytical skills with developing new reporting analytics
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different levels of the organization (written and verbal – i.e. PowerPoint)
  • Experienced with SDLC methodology run projects from Requirement Gathering, Design, Testing, Documentation Training through Implementation and Post Live Support
  • Previous experience in implementing Solution architecture for Ecommerce systems and integrations
  • Client-facing / Customer-facing experience to deliver solution overviews, webinars and training
  • Ability to communicate, produce documentation, prepare and lead client sessions, etc.
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations
  • Solid presentation, facilitation, interview and workshop facilitation skills
  • Solid communication skills with ability and experience working with executive level staff
  • Previous experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA/Trello
  • University degree is required
  • PMI-PBA certification is an asset
Additional Skills:
  • Experienced with large ERP applications; Oracle JDE is an asset
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software-preferably Salesforce.com and Salesforce Communities
  • Demonstrative experience using native Mobile apps and Responsive Design to digital solutions to strengthen client brands, and improve customer relationships leaning on tools such as CRM
  • Successful delivery of Ecommerce, Digital Marketing and CRM projects
  • Working experience with a leading Ecommerce and Integration platform(s) including but not limited to
    • Salesforce
    • WordPress
    • Oracle Fusion Middleware
    • Exposed to or directly used ECM, or Web CMS
    • Integration Frameworks (SOAP, REST, JSON)
    • XML/XML Schema and experience with Data Modeling
    • UI/UX Design Principles
    • SharePoint experience is an asset
    • Basic knowledge of CSS/HTML/Javascript
WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;
  • Travel within North America and to some Europe locations may be required
