About the job The Customer Advisory team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect-Fraud & Security Intelligence to support Canadian business units in all revenue streams within SAS Fraud & Security Intelligence Solutions. Our team works closely with Sales, Professional Services and Partners to enable local resources and drive customer advisory / technical presales activities with a focus on SAS Viya, an AI, analytic, and data management platform running on a modern, scalable, cloud native architecture. As a Senior Solutions Architect-Fraud & Security Intelligence , you will:

  • Develop an understanding of clients’ current business strategies, requirements, and opportunities;
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients’ Fraud and AML teams and staff. Call on customers as part of pre-sales discovery and feedback to account teams.
  • Developing an understanding of the client’s existing business, solution and technical environment;
  • Determine, qualify, define, present and propose SAS solutions (which could potentially include technology, services, infrastructure and hosting);
  • Participate in and deliver presentations, workshops and briefings;
  • Build and deliver demos and proofs of concept/capability that show the value to clients.
  • Support relevant components of formal proposals, Proof of Concepts, and RFP responses.
  • Engage with customers post-sale as-needed to ensure adoption;
  • Determine how the proposed solutions would be architected within clients’ existing business and technical infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years’ experience across a diverse set of industries, including Banking, Insurance, Government, Retail & Consumer Goods, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • High levels of proactivity, creativity, curiosity, self-motivation, and thirst for knowledge. Goal oriented, competitive.
  • Knowledge of the following areas is a plus: AI/Machine Learning, Analytics, Open Source (Python/R), Data Management, Visualization Tools, etc.
  • Experience with or knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus.
  • Experience in defining business technology solutions, and how they will fit into clients’ business and technical environments including on-premises infrastructure, private and public clouds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a must.
  • Ability to travel.
