- Lead and develop the whole bid management process.
- Develop business opportunities by monitoring the public and private sector.
- Working with pricing teams and evaluating competitive pricing strategies.
- Develop a persuasive bid content, including value propositions, pricing models and technical responses.
- Constantly look to improve the bid processes, templates and best strategy to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging best practices in bid management.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction/quantity surveying or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a bid manager, proposal manager or a similar role.
- Experience in managing bids for complex projects or large-scale contracts.
- Well acquainted with the Irish market, contract laws, regulations, and industry specific bid requirements.
- Understanding pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess bid opportunities and develop winning strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
