For more information, please refer to The Opportunity: The .NET Developer will play a key role in developing innovative smart hospital solutions, focusing on performance, scalability, security, and testing. This person will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to design, build, and maintain server applications and database solutions that streamline healthcare operations and improves patient care. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications using the Microsoft .NET framework (C# preferred)
  • Design and implement scalable database solution using MS SQL
  • Implement and conduct comprehensive testing/quality check and system support and ensuring applications are functional, secured and running in optimum system performance.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for deployed applications and systems: includes but not limited to
  1. troubleshoot application and interface issues reported
  2. analyze error logs and identify root causes
  3. work collaboratively with IT application support staff to resolve complex issues.
  4. document solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate closely with Front-end developers, IT application support & Business Analyst, Clinical users and other stakeholders like IT vendors to deliver high-quality smart hospital solutions that meet the healthcare business requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver feature enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and hospital workflows to optimize application design and functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software development, particularly in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
Qualifications Technical Expertise
  • Proven hands-on experience with C# (with .NET 6 or higher).
  • Strong command in ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core Web Programming
  • Proficient in using Visual Studio IDE
  • Familiar with Entity Framework and Web API
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as protocol, HTML, CSS, and Java scripts is a Plus.
Other Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT equivalent.
  • Proven track records with more than Five (5) years software development/support experience, preferable in healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge in HIS, ITIL or IT service desk would be an added advantage
  • Advantageous to have analytics and problem-solving experience in hospital environment.
  • Good team player, possess great interpersonal skills, and has the ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin (Will have added advantage).
  • Demonstrate independence
  • Ability to travel across states and to travel HMI HQ in Singapore occasionally.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work extra working hours especially during project implementation.
