Assistant Vice President - Global Issuer Services - Markets

Job Summary: Global Issuer Services is responsible for all marketing activities in the Mainland and internationally for Hong Kong listings, as well as post-IPO issuer services. The objective of this role is to promote Hong Kong as a listing venue and drive issuer marketing initiatives, e.g. identifying and following up with key Mainland potential issuers, organizing marketing events, maintaining relationship with market practitioners, producing analysis on market/IPO trends, and executing key projects, etc. Job Duties: We are seeking a well-seasoned, self-directed and well connected AVP to work closely with the team to incubate quality IPO pipelines and strengthen HKEX's position as the preferred listing venue for global issuers. Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage and follow-up with potential issuers with a focus on key Mainland and regional companies
• Execute and manage marketing initiatives to bring in quality Mainland and international issuers to the Hong Kong market (e.g. organizing and/or speaking at marketing events, training workshops, etc.)
• Develop and maintain good relationship with market participants, including but not limited to, industry associations, investment banks, lawyers, accountants, brokers and other relevant financial institutions
• Ensure smooth execution of the business development plans in line with the strategic objectives of China team
• Conduct market / policy / company research analysis to make recommendations to the team (including collecting market intelligence on IPO/equity capital markets)
• Prepare presentation materials and maintain statistical reports
• Undertake any other responsibilities and projects as assigned

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Marketing or related disciplines preferred
• 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organizations
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong, Mainland and global equity capital markets
• Strong team player and leader with the ability to influence, work cross functionally, build relationships with key stakeholders and thrive highly collaborative fast paced environment
• Strong quantitative, communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to publicly represent HKEX when engaging regulators, large industry conferences and industry associations
• Proven track record of origination and execution with Mainland issuers
• Extensive network in primary and secondary market investors community would be a plus
