An exciting opportunity exists for a WEB DEVELOPMENT & E-COMMERCE LEAD at AVI LIMITED IT SHARED SERVICES in Bryanston , Johannesburg . The purpose of the role is to oversee the development activities for websites (with specific e-commerce expertise) and operational maintenance and upkeep. The successful incumbent will be primarily responsible for creating and implementing innovative software web solutions; designing robust architectures for web applications, which includes creating scalable solutions. As a leader the successful incumbent will guide the web development team by providing technical direction and support; ensuring the team is equipped with the right skills and tools to effectively execute projects. - 5 years management and customer relations experience
- Proven experience with methodology and project tools
- Experience with Open Stack Web development, e-Commerce platform development (Magento), HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Linux, Apach/Nginx, Docker and related web technologies
- Matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualification with an IT major
- Magento Certified Developer
