General: In order for Smollan Holdings Proprietary Limited ("Smollan") , or any of its subsidiaries, to consider your application for employment at Smollan ("Job Application") , it will be necessary for Smollan to process certain information which you share with Smollan for the purpose of the Job Application, including personal information – which may include special personal information (all hereafter referred to as "Personal Information"). Access to your Personal Information and purpose specification: Your Personal Information will be processed by Smollan for purposes of assessing your Job Application and may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment assessment process. We may also share your Personal Information with third parties, including the requirement to carry out verification and background checks. In this regard, you acknowledge that Smollan’s authorised verification agent(s) will access your Personal Information and conduct background screening checks including, but not limited to, qualifications, employment references, criminal record, credit records, fraud prevention and ID verification. Consent: By consenting, you agree and voluntarily consent to Smollan's processing of the Personal Information for the purposes listed above relating to your Job Application, including to confirm and verify any information provided by you and carry out any relevant background checks, and you give Smollan permission to do so. Furthermore, you also agree that your Personal Information may be disclosed by Smollan to third parties, including Smollan's affiliates, service providers and associates.
