About Our Client Our client is a well-established distribution company that has been expanding aggressively around the region. With their strategies and innovation, they are currently looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to join their leadership team. Job Description The Procurement Assistant Manager will be the focal point for overall Indirect Procurement activities. This person will be working closely with the internal and external team to help drive efficiency of the company. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:
- To support all internal department on any Procurement requirements
- Vendor management of sourcing, shortlisting, qualifying, review in the right time line
- Ensuring all Procurement activities is comply to the policy and processes set accordingly
- Great understanding of PO and PR process
- Ability to work within the time line set and constant update with communication is vital
- Practice cost savings for all Procurement activities
- Stakeholder management is required other than Procurement operations
- At least a Degree in Finance or any related field
- At least 5 years experience in indirect procurement (IT, Marketing, Events)
- Proficient in English
- Strong in SAP
- Great interpersonal and strong communication skill
- Resilient and ability to work in an agile environment
- Proactive and responsible
