As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to do meaningful work on a variety of exciting sites contributing to complex fire suppression projects. What you will do:

  • An apprenticeship with us will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects. We are offering a full-time Level 6 Pipefitting Apprenticeship ran by SOLAS. 
  • You will work closely with out experienced engineers at our clients sites. The majority of our sites are in the Cork area but further travel may be required.
  • You will learn how to install pipework for Fire Sprinkler systems in Industrial buildings.
  • Installation of plant items such as Fire pumps, Valve, pumphouse piping etc.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance of plant items such as Fire pumps, Sprinkler alarm valves.
  • Trained in the installation and repair of Carbon steel, Ductile Iron and PVC pipework.
  • Develop skills in installation of mechanical equipment.
  • You will be trained in the fabrication of pipework, threading, and grooving.
  • On-the-job training will be provided working closely with our experienced Fire & Security engineers, many of these engineers have also been through our apprenticeship scheme so they are the perfect mentors to guide you through the apprenticeship.

Training and Qualifications:
  • You will be enrolled on a level 6 pipefitting apprenticeship, delivered by our training partners Solas. This apprenticeship is a 4-year program consisting of 7 phases. 4 on-the-job and 3 off-the-job in a training facility.
  • You will attend on a block release basis training and receive on-the-job guidance from experienced mentors and engineers.
Career Progression:
  • Upon completion, a number of internal opportunities within the company will be available to you. All of our apprentices immediately move into full time permanent engineering positions.
  • Previous apprentices have become lead engineers, managing their own teams and projects.
Qualifications Required:
  • Applicants must have a minimum of grade D in 5 subjects in the Junior Cycle or Leaving Cert exam including Maths and English.
  • Full Driving Licence is essential.

What happens next?
  • Suitable candidates will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position and provide necessary documentation. Afterward, you will be invited to an interview in May.
  • Within 48 hours, candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can begin the apprenticeship on September 2, 2024.
