What you do The Team Leader will be responsible for driving productivity and managing a team of Business Banking Managers who handles account onboarding through our interactive digital platform for corporate customers. This position requires a strong understanding of digital banking processes, excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Apart from handling escalated issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner, the team leader will need to work with the team to delight customers through their onboarding journey. Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess applications for corporate account opening. Ensure completeness and accuracy of information and required documentations.
  • Resolve escalated complaints and complex customer issues by engaging various stakeholders for timely resolutions
  • Closely track and monitor fulfilment performance to ensure optimum productivity.
  • Provide training, coaching and guidance to ensure team members are well trained on compliance requirements, account opening platforms and processes.
  • Conduct regular team meeting and individual performance reviews.
  • Work closely with Business Head/Group Leader to implement business initiatives.
  • To continuously identify areas for improvement and innovation to ensure the business continues to stay relevant to customers and to build for the future.
  • Adhere to bank's internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications Who you are
  • At least 5 years' experience in the banking and financial services industry in similar capacity and at least 1 year experience in leading a team
  • Effective management skills with strong leadership qualities
  • Good understanding of corporate account opening or similar role within the banking industry. SME market is preferred.
  • Knowledge in corporate account onboarding documentation and process.
  • Knowledge of relevant banking regulatory requirements and policies is a plus.
  • Independent, self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Require to station at branch to facilitate and guide Business Banking Managers for account opening
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Dynamic, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
