Mechanical Project Engineer - Oil & Gas sector

Job Brief: We are seeking a Lead Engineer - Mechanical Project Engineer (with sufficient project management background experience) in Oil & Gas sector to lead and coordinate full strategic and operational responsibilities. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Planning, coordinating and managing Engineering and Design of the Project throughout the Project duration. · Design and develop equipment and machinery for oil and gas exploration, production, and transportation. This can include drilling rigs, pipelines, pumps, compressors, and other equipment. · Responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment and machinery used in the oil and gas industry. · : Ensure that all equipment and machinery used in the oil and gas industry meets safety and regulatory standards. · Identify and quantify project needs and assist in development of detailed specifications for projects · Provide input and recommendations for project designs · Develop and manage budgets · Responsible for hiring and managing staff and subcontractor · Manage project schedules Job Requirements: · Proven working experience as a Project Engineer 5-8 years · Familiarity with the Oil & Gas sector`s (rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards)· Ability to work with multiple discipline projects · Project management and supervision skills · Decision-making ability and leadership skills · Time management and organization skills · Current engineer license · BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field Job Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
